I am a camera enthusiast through and through. Whether it's my dinky film camera with hot glued googley eyes or the war-torn and battered digital, you're likely to find me with one of them, if not both.
Since the mid 2000s, I've viewed the world through a lens. From capturing friends and family to ice formations and cloud patterns, from abstract long exposures to experimental film techniques. Every blink is a frame; every second an opportunity for a unique perspective.
Since graduating with a degree in photography and film & video, I've spent my decade career in film, real estate photography, editorial for print and marketing, and weddings. I now work full time doing product photography.
I currently live in Grand Rapids, MI with my partner and my dog, Corduroy.
"Fotisto" means "Photographer" in the constructed language of Esperanto.
Esperanto was created by L. L. Zamenhof in the late 1800s with the intention that it would be the world's first universal written and spoken language.
